I figgured that i was low on trans fluid, so i miscalculated how much i needed, and i put in 2 full quarts of mV. One prolly would have been enough, but now im smoking like crazy. should i just drive it all smokey, untill it pushes all the excess out? what can i do to cure the ill?

Andy, my guess is that you will have to drain some of it some how. Friends here who work on cars have told me that too much tranny fluid might cause a seal to leak.

If you have a hand pump you can use a small tube to just suck it out the fill tube...

all the smoking is more than likely the tranny fluid getting pushed out the vent in the trans and burning off the exhaust

Where is the vent located? I still have a leak. When I pull out the plug the torque converter is clean and dry, which leads me to believe it's not the front pump seal. I haven't spent much time chasing this leak yet, I just make sure the fluid level is ok. I should probably address this soon.
