I am eventually putting an entire system in the LS but for now just have money to replace the speakers. I need to know how many watts the stock head unit is putting out. Anyone know? I do not have the alpine system or the 6 disk changer. Just the base audio system. Any input here would be appreciated. Also are the factory speakers 4Ω??

Stock Radio Only Puts Out Around 12 Watts Rms (continuous Power). My Recommendation Would Be To Replace The Deck First, Then Add A Sub For The Biggest Improvement In Sound. Then Of Course Replace The Speakers And Add An Amp For The Speakers.

Thanks for the replys. That is what I was afraid of. Probably going to take the recommendation to replace the deck first. I already have a sub amp and subs so that only makes sence.

Anyone know if the stock speakers are 4Ω?
