Hi there,
My LS is not starting at all. i got the idea to check the fuel system first b/c the "humming" noise is not there when you turn the key to the KOEF position. i pulled the rear seat and put my ear to the floor to make sure the pump was not priming....it is not. there are 4 wires coming out of the fuel pump 2-run to the motor and the other 2 i have no idea? I have the Ford manual CD but the wiring diagrams are hard to read especially when your only know the basics of electricity. i found the fuel relay but not sure if it is bad or not? is there a basic test to see if the fuel pump is good or to check if the relay is good? is there another piece to the puzzle i am not aware or maybe?

that's the basic problem and any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Have you checked the inertia switch?
