Alright...Im looking for a way to remove the stock deck in my 94' mark Viii...Without butchering the wood grain and black plastic at the same time...I know there is a special tool to remove the deck that go into the 4 holes on the sides...Any advice?

depending on how "nice" your local car audio shop is (if you have any small local once) if you ask them some will let you use the tool/take it out for you if its a quick job for free (if you let them know you are probably gonna buy something from um also helps youll probably need a wiring harness anyways)

You do not need the tool to do it. If you have small enuf nails you can shove them in there and pry the head unit out......free.

I've heard of people using the old metal coat hangers.

I've heard of people using the old metal coat hangers.
They do not always work because the stiffness of the metal coat hangers differs from maker to maker. The nails work MUCH betta.
