I have an '02 with the indash 6 disc fashion Alpine system. It's starting to hang upon ejecting discs, so often so that I'm going to change it out. When I bought the car it came with the walnut coverings over the dash, consule, etc. It seems that the easiest thing to do would be to put in a stereo of the same style. Otherwise, by installing an aftermarket stereo I'll have to go ripping off that nice walnut covering. Let's just agree that this is what I wish to do, and maybe you can answer, based on these requirements...unless ANYONE has seen an aftermarket stereo that fits the profile of the dash, given the fact that the walnut facing needs to remain...Does anyone know if a newer year indash 6 disc changer has any added features over the '02? mp3, a connection for ipod, etc? and if so, is it a completely perfect exchange out?
