NEED SOME HELP :confused: MY 88 MARK CANT STOP DRINKING FUEL PUMP WILL NOT SHUT OFF NEED TO UN HOOK BATTERY

Welcome. Sounds like your fuel pump relay is burnt out causing the pump to run continuous. I would check and replace this first, as it is the easiest, cheapest, and most common solution. The relay should be in the driverside area of the trunk.

I'd like to know how this works out for you.
I've never heard of this condition before and would like to know how you resolve it. My next step would be the ignition switch inside of the steering column. If it's separated then it's toast.

Like LSC said, change the relay.
