hi,

back in october i scored a 92 mark vii lsc with 190k on it for $400. It has one small rust spot behind the drivers side front tire, the leather is cracked all to heck, and it was dirty.

oh, and the air suspension sucks and the diagnostic says a lot of things are broken, so after reading about the problems and the fixes, i think i'm going to give arnott or strumasters a call in the morning.

i have a fascination with heavy, quick, vehicles. My daily driver is a 93 lightning, and i love it to death. (So does my girlfriend.)

anyway, i'm pretty impressed with the forum dwellers on here, so i figured i would introduce myself.

Well, first the bad news. Strutmaster has "dropped" (no pun intended) the lowering springs. Not available. Not gonna ever have em.

Secondly, I ordered the spring conversion today, should have it friday. in for a busted knuckle weekend i'm sure.

The lowering springs suck. These cars handle best at STOCK ride height. What kit did you go with strutmasters? I preferr arnott due to the aluminum perches vs. the steel cups. It is MUCH easier than you think. You will not need anything more than a few handtools, a jack, and some jack stands. Good luck.

i got the standard stock ride height kit. after much deliberation i figured the ride height should be close to stock so as not to eff up the ride, so to speak. i want it to not handle like a pig but still have a luxury feel.

i may venture out here in a bit and start taking it apart. it looks pretty easy to take apart and i have the sway bar off already due to a broken link. the alignment shop is putting that back on for me next monday, IF i get the springs in the next couple days.

i'm wondering if i shouldnt have gotten the arnott kit. oh well, same spring, just different perches.
