Ok what the heck is this thing and the line that broke off of it????
I could of sworn I heard air because it was slightly cracked until I tried to see what it was and the line broke right off.
It looks like its on the heater core hose maybe????

Hi.
In the winter, when you just start your Mark VII and turn the heat up to 90 and push auto and ... NOTHING comes out of the vent, it's because of this sensor in the hose that tells the blower not to turn until the coolant temp is up to like 120 degrees or something.

I cannot remember the correct name for it but it should be reconnected.

We don't have that on our cars. GM cars have that diverter valve for the heat. That's for the smog pump.

Take that little bit of plastic line out of the elbow, and reconnect the plastic line that's in your hand to it.

You need to also hook up that bigger hose.

Whoops.
Pictured above is the tee in the line closer to the front of the car. I thought it was the tee just before the heater coil.
Thanks for the correction.
