ok i was driving last night and tried to pass someone i was going about 60 mph and i felt it try to pick up but it didnt. i watched the rpms go up but no acceleration. then it would catch the gear and shift then pick up. then today i did the same thing at about 60 mph tried to pass i felt the same thing but this time my check engine light came on and blinked a couple of times. so i pulled over let it rest checked everything it seemed ok. i continued to drive it drives normally when i'm not heavy on the gas pedal. i have an extended warranty and it says it covers transmissions so i'm hoping they will reaplace or fix it for my deductable ($100). i'm pretty sure its my transmission but if its not can any one help me out on what it might be. oh yeh i drive an 01 v6 sport. i know a couple of other people have the same problem. i'm going to take it to the dealership on monday being they're closed on weekends.

i've been searching around and could my problem be the Transmission valve body and solenoid. and if it is either problem what would be the price to fix. i have my transmission under my aftermarket warranty so they should fix it for the deductable.

i need help please in finding out what maybe wrong. could it be i need my PCM reflashed. if it is how much would that cost? and why would it just now start?

you have a warranty just take it to the dealer. they can check codes since your check engine light flashed.
