Can anyone help a Newbie with his Headlights. The Drivers side is dim, the passenger side is fine. I have been told that to get a ballast from Lincoln comes with the complete headlamp assembly @ $830.00

Thats one way. You could try and piece together what you need from a junk yard or an auction. Try posting a "WTB" (want to buy). Try to find a lamp first, splice it in and see how that works. If not, then a ballast. Both items are great to have on the shelf should you need them.
There are a few tech. sections out there should you choose to find them. As well as online auto "recyclers" that may have what you need.
