Wow, just got this unit installed and it is nice. Only took about 1.5hrs and I used the 2003+ Nav surround to finish off the job. I'll take pics tomorrow and post.

The initial voice and the "reached final destination" plays but nothing in between. Also the rerout function is not working either. Yes, I've set all the controls right in the menu. The one thing I did notice is every once in a while it will display, "Check Speed Pulse". Could this have something to do with it? Anyway, here are a couple of pics. I'll take better ones later. If anyone can help let me know. Thanks. Joeychgo April 8th, 2006, 05:42 PM I dont know that unit so im not much help. Im guessing the problem is in the unit settings. Looks nice though.. :) ltnate3 April 8th, 2006, 08:53 PM I dont know that unit so im not much help. Im guessing the problem is in the unit settings. Looks nice though.. :) Thanks for the compliment! It's the dealer version of the 5435...same look, same features and all. It wasn't even that hard of an install. Frogman April 8th, 2006, 09:04 PM Well, the check pulse message most likely has to do with the VSS input wire. ltnate3 April 8th, 2006, 09:35 PM Well, the check pulse message most likely has to do with the VSS input wire. Yeah, do you think that would cause the turn by turn not to work? beaups April 8th, 2006, 10:31 PM might be because you're out of gas LOL ltnate3 April 8th, 2006, 11:06 PM might be because you're out of gas LOL  ltnate3 April 9th, 2006, 06:14 PM might be because you're out of gas LOL LOL...Man I'm slow.
