The yellow plastic hood release has snapped off the steel piece - I tried to glue it back on but it won't stay - what would be the best way to re-attach it? The two little round pieces that fit into the holes are still present.

I would use a small nut and bolt just for something to grab on to,
I don't know if that steel pice is used on any other fords ,
