00_slow_5spd_ls March 31st, 2006, 06:43 PM yes, they r all foggy. water gets in them and they looks like :q:q:q:q. dont know if there ever was a recall on them. i dont know how to take them apart and reseal them anybody else got this problem?
itsnotmydaddys March 31st, 2006, 06:53 PM everyones got that problem, thats one reason why most of us cleared our side markers. Theres an article in the tech section i believe, i have posted it several times here. very easty mod that makes a world of diff.

kudisbetta April 1st, 2006, 11:55 AM nice, like the color
chrome and white/pearl go very well together, so think of that when you customize

lexmarkz00 April 2nd, 2006, 01:55 PM How do cars get foggy headlights? I've always wondered that, cause it looks gross (and ghetto). I'm assuming it's when they're parked outside and there's like condensation in the morning? ...but I could be wrong. :/ Thank God none of my cars have ever had that problem. *knock on wood*
StinkinLinkinLS01 April 2nd, 2006, 02:43 PM Foggy headlights are due to faulty sealant. Has to do with condensation. Their is a "how-to" thread somewhere on this site
BanginLS April 2nd, 2006, 04:28 PM i only get my headlamps foggy when i wash my car.. how can i get that fixed?
ToddG April 2nd, 2006, 05:05 PM i only get my headlamps foggy when i wash my car.. how can i get that fixed?
Don't wash it? :p
Seriously, its easy. Just get new headlights with the upgraded seals. They bolt right in, and the problem will be solved.
SoonerLS April 2nd, 2006, 05:31 PM i only get my headlamps foggy when i wash my car.. how can i get that fixed?
You could look at it as a blessing: fogged lamps means they have the old sealant, which means you can disassemble them to install angel eyes. There's a write-up on the subject around here somewhere.
itsnotmydaddys April 2nd, 2006, 05:31 PM or buy some sealant and reseal the lip around the headlight, alot cheaper and does the job.
BanginLS April 2nd, 2006, 09:35 PM i have clear headlamps and angel eyes in them and HIDS to boot..
i bought them off some moron on cardomain.. i sealed them using silicone and i still get condensation when i wash my car..
anything else u guys can think of helpin wit?
lloydrage April 3rd, 2006, 06:21 AM try running an extra layer around the seal. i did this and it sealed my lights perfect
