Hey folks,
Anybody have a problem with there climate control not switching from vent to heat or defrost??? Mine seems to be in the defrost mode and does not want to switch to anything else....Any help would help in trouble shooting this problem.... It is a 94 Mark VIII...

i had the exact same problem in my 94. It turned out to be a vaccum leak. There is a vaccum hose that crosses over the intake in t he engine compartment - mine had simply come loose from the coupler. I plugged the hose back and my climate control worked fine after.

Tried that....still does not work?????

have you checked all of the connections at the back of the control unit?

I checked the vacuum hoses in the back of the unit...That fixed it..
