Removing strut

I am installing the front coil conversion kit for my 1996 Mark VIII. I have ran into some problems when removing the strut. I have removed all the bolts, but i still can't get it out because there is too much pressure on the strut itself. any suggestions on how to get it out?

I am using these instructions because strutmasters didn't send any with my kit. i'm on #9.

Thanks.

two things, did the air release when you removed the solenoid? It should have. second, you still need to use some muscle to remove the strut. After all the air is out it won't just fall out. I keep the 3 top bolts threw the holes and grab the lower end pushing upward to compress it and once its compress enough to get the bottom end passed the arm it'll come out. Its hard to explain without actually being there.
