Hey hows it goin? i just got on this forum after i went and drove a 2003 Lincoln LSE, i loved it!!! its a great car, very fun to drive. My current car is a Dodge Stealth, i love that car too, its quick and sporty, and its a manual, thats the one problem i had w/ the LS v8, no flippin manual!!! and its so close to being a bmw beater, i can't believe they only but the 5 speed on the six, and only for 2 years, thats a bummer, but i came up w/ this idea and i wanna know if its possible. Im not sure of all the 4.0 jag/3.9 lincoln/tbird v8 applications, but is it at all feasible to put a manual transmission in the v8 lincoln ls??? is there no compatible transmission?? if there isn't, that sucks, cuz i love manauls, and i love the ls v8, just an idea, idk if its been posted before or not, it most likely has, but any response is helpful! thanks! :D

search for the V8 manual swap thread under the search option, But a quick answer is I beleive noone found a tranny that will handle the V8 and still be able "talk" to the computer system in the LS.
