my steering wheel is kinda odd, its tan but the tan is peeling off of the center part(where the star is) and its black underneath, i sorta like the look of the tan ring around the black center, but i was wondering how much trouble it is to put a new steering wheel on, preferably a newer one with the little aluminum emblem opposed to just the star set in it

You can take the steering wheel off and replace it. You can view a tech article I did on the steering wheel removal here:
