I just purchased a 1988 MK VII Bill Blass edition. I had no idea there was such a following for the MK VII's. I bought mine because it was extremely clean and only has 34,000 miles on it. And the Lexus dealer was nice to work with.
My questions are: What is the rated horsepower?
What are the main differences between this and the LSC?
And, does anyone have a set of factory manuals for it?

Please search (http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/search.php?) for information. This has all been answered before.
Welcome to the board. You have a 225HP 300FT-LB engine, which is the same 5.0L used in the fox-body Mustang. The LSC had analog gauges, different wheels, different suspension, tighter steering, different seats, and different trim. Yes, I have a set of factory manuals for my car. You can get them from ebay, the forums, or directly from Helms.

Welcome.
Why anyone would trade that beautiful machine in for a (gasp!) Lexus, is beyond me. On the other hand, the dealer wanted to move that car as soon as possible. Thier loss is definately your gain.
MANY of us own more than one Mark VII.

Nice to have you with us.
Unlike Old School some of us only have one Mark (but some other Lincolns:cool : ). There are some really knowlegeable folks on this site who are soooo kind to share their knowledge. Don't be afraid to ask questions. We all learn from the answers. Lincolnlov
