I switched out my shifter over the weekend to a new one with the SST in it. I drove the car for the first time at night yesterday and realized the lights don't work on the gear numbers anymore. They worked before I made the change. Any idea why they are not working anymore?

If it's in the shifter then the light is probably out in it. Did you get it new or used?

I only paid $50 for the whole setup. I will try a #37 bulb tonight and let you know.

Where is the bulb located.

there is a wire assembly right under the shifter it looks like. hard to explain. i see it in the picture. we cannot email pics yet, though. i can include a copy with your parts if you want.

ya i did this before, my light was out too... its not hard at all if you know how to switch out your shifter, and you just said you did that, soo... should be easy, the light bulb is just really tiny..

Any other ideas? The SST setup has two bulbs not one like my old version. I swapped them out and it still does not work.
