Highbeam/foglight ?

Has anyone wired the lights so that they can turn on the highbeams and fog lights at the same time? I recently put some red bulbs (matchs the theme I'm going with) in the highbeam and fogs and want to be able to turn them on at the same time. Any ideas would help too. I'll post some pics later.

I actually tried doing this through the relay on my LS and was uncecessful in doing so, i may have bent the wrong tab over on the relay, so instead of really screwing something up i just bent the tab back and left well enough alone, i did do this in my 01 ranger and it work awesome.

Huh, man did you see my car today or what???

One of my HIDs doesn't work, so I hooked up the harnesses of lowbeams to the highs and now I have the euro BMW effect. I think looks good. I might put the HIDs in the highs and run em like that when I get em.

I am gonna go snap a picture now.

On the 03+ models the high & low beams are on together. The fogs & low beams are on together. No more than 4 lit lights to the front of the vehicle. Your local law enforcement may or may not enforce this, but in any case, more than 4 lights on to the front gives them a reason to stop.:)

that's an HID thing...remember hid's don't hit brightness quickly so car's with HID's normally DON'T turn the HID's off when the brights are on because when you switch back to low beams there would be a delay with poor or possibly even no visibility.

You are right. The nice thing is that the 03+ are all wired that way, even if they did not come with HIDs originally.

Is there any way to do this without switching the bulbs for the lows and highs?

Could it be in the short wiring harness that runs from the lights (turn, low and high) that plugs into each side of the radiator or is it more in depth than that.
