a couple of months ago i hit a deer with my 2002 ls. i have slowly been fixing it back up it is very expensive. all i need now is a hood and radiator fan. does anyone know about aftermarket hoods. do they fit like the oem ones or can you tell a big difference. and does anyone know where i can get a oem hood for cheaper than the factory 700 bucks.
by the way the consumer reports were right about the ls it does very well in a crash.

At this time no one manufactures an aftermarket hood with scoops for the LS. Click below for a new aftermarket hood for the LS here:

Around $360 for a new hood. Those same folks sell a radiator fan for it too.

They guarantee the fit too. That's rare for off shore sheet metal.

Sorry to hear about your accident and its good that you almost back to having your car in good condition. Its too bad somebody doesnt make hoods with hood scoops or carbon fiber hoods. If they did i would def. look into one. It gives that unique look that i want but i guess ill have to look into getting someone to make me a carbon hood with a hood scoop that will fit on the ls.
