It will fit but getting it to work is the problem. You would have to do quite a bit of re-wiring and such that it would not be economical to acheive. You would be better off getting an aftermarket unit that would probably be better and cheaper. 2001LS8Sport February 14th, 2006, 10:39 AM Been down this road. Listen to what the guys say... nashmage February 14th, 2006, 01:00 PM It would appear that this is the cheapest alternative I can find. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-RTE02xeO3Id/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=168550&I=130AVICN3 It is a Pioneer AVIC-N3 and its 1800 at crutchfield. Does anyone happen to know of any other headunits that have navigation and are cheaper than that? This HU looks to be our best bet to get all the options including Nav. I guarantee my Eclipse AVN 5495 kicks the pioneers ass but is a bi tch to install or have installed. No separate DVD unit and it plays DVD's while in motion (for the kids of course) and has a 30 gig hard drive for the nav system as well as to store music on. 2100 installed new. LennDawg February 14th, 2006, 09:47 PM the Avic-N3 is out now? the N1, N2, and N3 all look the freakin same, prolly do the same things too... nashmage February 14th, 2006, 10:05 PM they prob do and you can get that same HU on ebay for about 900 new. 2001LS8Sport February 15th, 2006, 09:04 AM I guarantee my Eclipse AVN 5495 kicks the pioneers ass but is a bi tch to install or have installed. I would much prefer the Pioneer AVIC-D1 to the Eclipse for navigation purposes. It won't do the DVD thing like the Eclipse, but for an extra $100 or so you can add that. Pioneer Nav is VERY good...and XM Traffic is worth its weight in gold. You can also buy this unit for under a grand if you shop around. nashmage February 15th, 2006, 09:10 AM ya, i have heard nothing but good things about the pioneer, from everyone i speak with it comes with everything you could ever want. On ebay you can get it for a little under 900 so its good. | ||||
