i own a 2002 lincoln ls and i was just wondering if anyone new if a navigation system out of a 2004 ls will fit and work.

maybe but don't bother. been covered here a bunch of times. you'd have to sell your house to raise the money. better aftermarket units out there.

It will fit but getting it to work is the problem. You would have to do quite a bit of re-wiring and such that it would not be economical to acheive. You would be better off getting an aftermarket unit that would probably be better and cheaper.

I guarantee my Eclipse AVN 5495 kicks the pioneers ass but is a bi tch to install or have installed. No separate DVD unit and it plays DVD's while in motion (for the kids of course) and has a 30 gig hard drive for the nav system as well as to store music on. 2100 installed new.

the Avic-N3 is out now? the N1, N2, and N3 all look the freakin same, prolly do the same things too...

I would much prefer the Pioneer AVIC-D1 to the Eclipse for navigation purposes. It won't do the DVD thing like the Eclipse, but for an extra $100 or so you can add that. Pioneer Nav is VERY good...and XM Traffic is worth its weight in gold. You can also buy this unit for under a grand if you shop around.

ya, i have heard nothing but good things about the pioneer, from everyone i speak with it comes with everything you could ever want. On ebay you can get it for a little under 900 so its good.
