ive noticed a great shutter in the car when reaching speeds of 55-70, this seems too happen after the car has been in the cold for a while..... i let the car sit for a little while too warm up but it still happens. Its only happend occasionally but it kinda bugs me..... it seems that after a while of shaking the car becomes normal again..... i feel like it needs to warm up too not shudder.... its a 96 base w/ 64K, ne one have an idea??

Either your driveshaft,I think 96 is a 2 piece prone to vibes.Or common shudder from your tranny fluid breaking down from heat.Trans flush and fill with mercon V might cure it if its inside the trans.I have read from all the kind folks on here that they switch to a driveshaft from a 93 because its a one piece.

did you put one from a 93 in your 95?

its pritty much normal for you to get vibration on the hwy. Mine starts at 70 and goes to 90-95.

Me too - goes away at 85ish. before and after I did a trans flush with Mercon V (98 LSC). Lincoln tells me it is the POS chrome 10 spokes are contributing to the issue.

Current Stable:
00 Stang vert - side pipes, super chip, CAI
98 LSC
96 Haulmark enclosed race trailer (going to eBay soon)
94 E-150 5.8l
65 T-Bird Coupe
65 T-Bird vert
64 Austin Healy 3000

Gone but not forgott'n:
95 Gen I Base
92 Merc Grand Marq -Police package...sigh
90 TC
85 T-Tbird Fila

I get it everytime over 70ish an dgoes completly away when I get over 100, faster the smoother.

I had tires balanced, new u joints and finally the dealer balanced and told me they could not balance cause of the bad rims.
