Can you fit a 6 1/2 in speaker in the front door of a 94 conti without modifying it.. if not what size does it take? I want to add some real nice speakers.. i wanted components but have no idea where to mount the tweeters.?

go to crutchfield.com... they have speaker sizes and fit charts and services avail... and if you know what brand/model speaker (especially if its one they currently carry), they will telll you whether or not it will fit and if you need any adapters.

o alright ill check it.. they say 6 1/2s will fit.. but i thought i read somewhere that they took 5 1/2 or 5 1/4 i dnt remember

I am gonna guess that they are 6 1/2... with adapters you can use 5 1/4 or 5 1/2

alright thanks.. you know of a good spot to mount tweeters in the front because i plan on upgrading to components
