ive noticed that when it gets really low on gas it drives better.
and then sometimes i notice it doesnt miss till it shifts so wth?
and the reason i want to get everyones input on this is because im a woman and around here they like to dick us when it comes to cars so i need some input cause im going to try and get it fixed before it goes in for paint next week.

well since your on you knees....JK. Its might, just might *not sure) but maybe have them reprogram your pcm. Theres new software thats available that helps the car run smoother and shift smoother. Not sure though im no tech by any means. i had mine reprogrammed and made a huge diff. Also check for a leaky valve cover or bad coil.
What paint are you getting?

ok people help me out here seriously. someone told me it might be where when i push on the gas something closes up instead of openining. and if anyone has any parts let me know like. the switch i need for my turn signal and such. and the cover for the steering wheel where my air bag deployed

2000 ls v6,
ok so i have a couple of things i need to ask about.
1. ok my engine has a miss in it. my mechanic says to keep driving it the only reason its missing is because the injectors are clogged from w here it had sat so long. now ive been driving it but im still not getting any results from that. i tried to floor it the other day and it just didnt gain any speed really like it was trying to but barely gettin anything. nothing came up on the computer diagnostic test. so does anyone have a clue?
2. when my lincoln was wrecked the air bags deployed. and i was thinking because i really dont care about the air bags being put back in if i could just get a custom dash mat instead of the whole dash?
3. also does anyone know how i can repair my seat belts to where they will work again with out having to spend a fortune?
4 and finally my turn signal is stuck to turning right when whomever wrecked it .. well wrecked i guess they grabbed the turn signal switch and broke it. so i put it back on at the time neither turn signal was working so i was messing with it one day and then it got stuck now the piece its self moves but i cant the turn signal to stop
anyone with any information will be gladly appreciated. thank you so much

Situation number one could be a lot of things, and clogged injectors are certainly possible, but I would also have my mechanic check the coils and ignition. Another possibility is a clogged fuel filter.
Situation number two, anything is possible, but my best advice is to replace the airbags. They could save your life.
Situation number three. Again I will advise to go to a competent mechanic & have your seat belts repaired. If they are broken or cut, they can be replaced, but they may be over extended and might be reset.
Situation number four. Again, it sounds like you will have to obtain a new turn signal switch as repairing these things usually cost more in man hours than a new one costs.
Most of the problems you have described can be fixed by an owner with mechanical experience, but one of the drawbacks to driving a sophisticated car like the LS is that it takes a lot of knowledge to repair it when something goes wrong.
