A couple of nights ago, I was driving only about 30 MPH on a dry, smooth road that I'm very familiar with when I gently applied the brakes as I was approaching a curve. The brakes went in anti lock mode which, as most of you know, really gets your attention. There was no apparent reason because, as I said, the road surface was fine and the curve was not a sharp one. As I straightened the wheel out, I again, very gently, applied the brakes and every time I tapped them, I got that anti lock stutter. I pulled over and did a walk around looking for any obvious problems...none found. I decided to try turning off the engine and re starting...Sort of like re booting a computer. The problem did not occur again. Anyone have an idea on what was wrong?
