I'm wanting to add some headrest tvs and I know there was a thread a couple of days ago asking about the ebay ones but heres my questions. What all is needed?? Are the ebay ones good?? What would I need extra for them if I keep my factory headunit? Just the dvd player? All info is appreciated. I know NOTHING about tvs in cars. FYI. :)

yea, ull need a dvd player... but that mean ull only be able to watch them inthe back since they are head rest..

I recommend getting an after market INdash dvd reciever

a flipout basically that plays dvd.. nad hook up ur head rest to it.. that way u have a screen upfront and 2 in the back

those innovateks on ebay are very good fro the price. they use sharp tft's

i don't wanna watch them up front so I'd just like to get the controls for the front for them. (dvd player) How much do the dvd players run for them?

Okay if you are looking to use your stock headunit then you will need to have:

1. dvd player
2. FM Modulator/Aux Input Adapter
3. TVs

You can get a dvd player on ebay or online for $150 or less that will also play mp3s and is of somewhat good quality.

The fm modulator or aux input adapter allows you to feed the audio directly through your factory radio. The aux input adapter would be the better way to go for quality sound. However, there have been several members here that have had issues getting theirs to work properly.

The innovatek screens on ebay are a good deal for the money considering they are already installed and that will save you a good amount of money. They are also good quality for the money but not top notch.
