I'm thinking of getting Sirius radio... I was looking on the web site, and I can't quite figure out how it works. Also, I have an Alpine head unit that is XM ready...but not Sirius ready.. How hard is Sirius to hook up, and how does it exactly work?

Also, how do they activate the account? Do they need a serial# or something?

I got Sirius almost a year ago. I haven't listened to much regular radio since! I love it! Here is my install of the StarMate.

You will need the serial number on the unit to activate the account. I'm pretty sure XM and Sirius headunits aren't compatible.
