hi guys i got a problem when im riding my car at night the lights near the shifter where it tells you what gear you are in does not light up and on the DCL the lights wont show up either for the gears but everything else is lit up can you guys help me?

the gear indicator is probably bad bulb... its actually in the instrument panel assy. you have to remove it to replace it. while you have it out, do the DCL tune up if it hasn't been done recently. Also, since you have it out, replace all the bulbs in the cluster.. there are a quite a few of them.

so by a DCL tune up you mean just change all the bulbs?

thats part of it... also cleaning connections in the cluster itself... if you have never had a 'check dcl' error, feel lucky.. everyone with 88-94 conti's get em eventually. most of the time they can be fixed by the tune up.

good luck. its not hard to do.. pulling the panel is actually the hardest... I can get one out in about 15 mins now... I am well practiced at pulling mine.
