1985 Hond Gl1200A Goldwing - Use to take a trip to CA every year but haven't for a while. Next scheduled trip next summer as a graduation gift for my daughter.

In 2003 I built a paintball field for a friend - Ran it for him until his money management screwed the pooch!

Also Played Paintball for a few years. Running the field made the playing of paintball much cheaper. Now it's back to paying full price.

Workin on the car is first. I got back into golfing after not playing while I was in college. Its nice enough to play today if I could find a course that is open. Then another of my hobbies is going to all the home Hawkeye football games along with tailgating. Season tickets are on the rise though because of our renovated stadium which will look like the second picture. Luckily I don't have a girlfriend to take my money but then again since I don't work I have no money anyway! Other than that just hanging out with friends which gets expensive from time to time.

I am a single father raising a 5 Year Old Son. I have three (soon to be two) Mark VIII's and I am remodeling my house. I also build high end computers. Very High end computers. By far the most rewarding thing in my life is my son. He is my reason for getting up every morning. The last couple of years has been very rewarding financially, so I am basically spoiling my son and enjoying him.

WOW, I also have a reef tank. It's a 75g with too much crap to list. Zoos/ricrodias/clams/sps/anemones/carpets/etc. Fish include powder blue/scopas tang/2 clowns/6 line wrasse. Also have several cleaner shrimp
That is my most expensive hobby

besides that, I play golf and poker.

Beside my car, I also have a 55 gallon reef tank and just like all of the others have said, that is a very expensive hobby. Just to list a couple of my favorite items in the tank: 2 gold bar maroons (mated), yellow watchman goby, purple firefish, harlequin shrimp, red and blue goniapora, and blastomussas. I kinda stopped buying fish stuff though and now doing things for my LS again. For example, tomorrow I'm getting my headliner and pillars done in suede. And that's not too cheap.

I also have a RC racer, but it has never been in a race.I won it when I was a Dr.Pepper salesman. It is a replica of the Dr.Pepper busch series car,and it is super fast.I have a 13 year old nephew that was going to run beside it to see how fast it is,and he couldn't keep up with it.:)

Well the first place money burner has got to be the kid$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, but thats not really a hobby.

But other than that it's those holes in the water you throw money into, you know, boats. I'm currently helping to maintain and operate three sailboats, 25, 30, and 36 ft, and a 38 ft Hershine trawler (with tanks for 350 gal. of diesel, go say "fill 'er up!)

I've been blowing a lot of Ducats on photography too, film and digital. Still like film for a lot of things.

I have a Client who almost lost her house due to that hobby..LOL

SilverLs,
I used a Nikon Digital SLR w/Af Lens
Focal Length: 250mm
Exposure mode: Apertaure Priotrity
1/640 Sec-F5.3
Exposure comp +0.7 EV
ISO 400

No color modding at all. WYSIWYG

Isnotmydaddies,
Quit that smoking and it will pay for your tank. Patience is a virtue in reefkeeping.

Nc2tarheels,

Do you have any pics?

NVmylS,

How about you any pics of your Mini Eco System?
People think I'm crazy when I try to explain the eco system that were totally in control of.

TodG,

I feel for you man! Kinda like my uncle, he's been paying child support for over 30 years, still has about 13 years to go...& Thats if he can keep it in his pants.

TheuncleSam,
My Hat's off to you.
Now Thats expensive, If you skimp you die.

Someday I will get my Class c Lic. and fly locally for fun.

Is that yours?

Keep them coming guys! Now I can show the wifey that there are bigger spenders than me out there.:) I dont feel so bad anymore.

My other hobby is my minitruck. It is a 1997 S-10 regular cab and it is definently a work in progress. I have shaved the doors, cab seams, 3rd brake light, tailgate, frenched the antenna, and molded in the roll pan. I plan to bodydrop and bag it this summer and get it painted flat black. Also I am putting 20's and some kind of front end conversion before it is all said and done. Also the interior needs some attention. But it is definently an expensive hobby!
