beaups January 19th, 2006, 06:20 AM but aren't those michelin tires around 200/ea??
2001LS8Sport January 19th, 2006, 09:48 AM I just bought a brand new set of take offs for my wife's Aviator. They were the expensive alloy wheel and the Michelin's still had the nubbins on them. I paid $400 off eBay. Your combo is worth a grand...but you'll never get it. About half that I guess.
pbslmo January 19th, 2006, 10:15 AM Wow, They look great. Maybe I could buy them and sell mine to Itsnotmydaddies for a small price.
richie100 January 19th, 2006, 10:39 AM The Michelin tires go about $200 each and both wheels/ tires are in prestine condition, you can even still see the(red/blue/yellow) color lines that are printed on the outside of the tires when new. I paid over $1000 for this set up, I was really just looking for new tires when I came across this set up and looking into the Michelin HX MXM4 tires, but when I was presented with the chance to get a brand new set of 2006 LS Chrome wheels with brand new set of Michelin tires I couln't pass it up, I would of paid over $800 for just the tires anyway, but now I am going to go with some aftermarket wheels. Well, these wheels are currently stored and ready to go for anybody who wants them, they have brand new chrome on them, they shine and look oh so very good!
They are also on ebay and (after 1 day) have already gotten a couple offers close to my asking price, but not quite, so I am sure they will be sold soon. There are sellers on ebay who have sold the same set up that I have over $1000 but with NO CHROME FINISH! , JUST DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH FOR ITEM # 8023135278, you'll see what I am talking about.
Lastly, You can also view my auction on ebay through this link.

You rarely see these wheels on the LS, just trying help anybody out who does not want to go with aftermarket wheels and would like to have some very nice OEM LS wheels.
2001LS8Sport January 19th, 2006, 10:47 AM If you get that price, I will be very surprised and I owe you an apology. Good luck with the sale!
pbslmo January 19th, 2006, 11:47 AM I went to the Michilan site and priced the tires. Did you purhcase the hazard warrenty and is it transferable? I'm really interested.
richie100 January 19th, 2006, 11:49 PM NO, there is no warranty on the tires. But I decided that if you can pick them up then I am willing to let them go for $900, just let me know.
Dutch January 20th, 2006, 12:12 AM FWIW, my Charger came with those Michelin HX MXM4 tires as part of the performance package and I really like them. They're very quiet and smooth and give good traction. They also sound good when you light them up, which, of course, is a very important consideration when buying a tire. Nice loud rubber screech, not the wimpy sound of rubbing nylon cord I've heard on lesser tires.
I've only had my Charger 2 months and it hasn't rained in that time, so I can't comment on wet traction.
I had Michelin Pilots (Sport A/S or something like that) on my '00 LS and they were also great tires. I replaced them with Goodyear GT HRs, which were abominal.
richie100 January 21st, 2006, 05:54 PM sold!!
