A couple new things

that i have found out within the past few days i thought i'd share for some light reading. The first is in regards to some previous discussions regarding radar detectors and the LS. There is a new stretch of highway being built by me and it has a road sign with a radar unit that displays your speed as you enter a contruction area. Since i drive this path three days a week I have been testing my radar which is mounted on the dash. It starts alerting 2.1 miles away from where the sign is. And its not exactly nice straight road. I'd say thats a pretty reasonable distance, seeing most busts are within 300 ft. So i'd say any rumors about the LS not allowing proper operation of a radar to be busted. The next discovery also involves that same sign and my tires. I had 225/60 16's installed. The tire shop gave me crap about that size and i have seen alot of posts regarding tire sizes. There is plenty of clearence and according to the speed sign at 50/55/65/76 mph my speedo is still accurate to what is being displayed. So a change in tire size isnt going to throw things off by any noticable amount. Enjoy
