Does anyone have the remote programming instructions for a '96 Continental? I would appreciate any information anyone has. Thanks.

1. Enter the factory keyless entry code.
2. press 1/2 button
3. press one button on each of the transmitters.each time the trans. is programmed successfully, the car will lock and unlock.if they don't your trans. was not programmed.

I just went through this yesterday and everyone forgets to tell you some important things. There not telling you all the steps. Like the first step is the key must be in the ignition and in the on position, then enter your factory entry code. here is a link that has all years listed for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury. You will find the instructions for your 96' Conti at "C" at this link..Remote Programming (http://www.v8sho.com/SHO/Remote%20Keyless%20Entry%20TSB%2097-24-13.htm)
