Hey -I was wondering if anyone could help with my stereo issue. . . here goes. . . i have factory everything in my 93 mark viii - about 3 months ago my pwr antenna stopped going up - same time i noticed this i went to play a cd (i have the 10 disc chngr) and the cd chngr wasn't working. . . i've troubleshooted this to death - - oh, and it makes a loud popping (like a bad ground?) i thought i had it tracked down to a relay that's in the trunk tray b/c when i pushed the wires in better the 2problems were fixed - - so i replaced this relay. . . now nothing works again. . . am i forced to listen to old mixed tapes forever? or should i make some new tapes?hee hee

Make new mixed tapes!
It sounds to me like youve already found the problem (the loose wires) so now u need to figure out why messing with these wires fixed it...bad connector?
Im probably rambling on about someting youve already done, but i tried! LOL

Had a similar issue on my 95 base when it was just about the end of the warranty. The amp was going bad - power on , power off - music on right side, then left side - Lincoln had to take the amp out and send it off to get refurbished, they would not replace it.
The said the cause was a bad ground connection for the factory cell phone at a relay in the trunk.
Hope this helps.
