How about a meet ??

Its not the end of summer bash I was hoping for, but we could meet on the Sat, Aug 28th at Lombard Cruise Night -I think it starts about 6:00pm. They have a live band and alot of interesting cars, but very few lincolns and cadillacs -- so we could make a nice impression.

I would like this to be a chance to organize the Midwest chapter, and formulate a plan to make the chapter work.

Day before my birthday. I'll do what I can to be there. I'm prepping my car right now for an interior overhaul (new seats, dash, door panels) so my car won't look like the "party mobile" this time :HB :)

Its the last cruise night of the summer I think...... so we cant go into september is we want to go to a show. I thought we could all meet, talk a little site business, then hang out at the show.........

Anyone who can make it is urged to try because we're gonna talk about the formation of the midwest chapter, probably select someone to head it up, at least temporarily, and try to find the best way to do things.

I will try to make it. I will be coming home from a short trip I am taking with my wife 20th to 25th so I should be able to make it.

I'd rather do it on a cruise night to get our name out there. Sure its nice to get together but I think its more important to represent, especailly if we get so many cars that we take the cruise over!

Sorry guys, I been away for a while. I will definently be interested to meet up. The 28 -29th would be best for me. The 22nd I got a family party. Keep me informed about what's going on.

The 28th is best for me the 22nd is out as I will be Mark'in in Colorado.

The 29th is ok but I'm going to be one tired teacher on my first day back in school on the 30th. LOL yes I know you have lots of sympathy for me on that issue. I have to go back to work.

Id go but my car is in sad shape atm. Had someone try to steal rims (they got my center caps). So I took them off and sold them. Then 2 weeks later had someone bust out my window, steal my stereo, breaking the dash in process, stole my mids and high amp and cause plenty more damage to random things inside. So im kinda depressed about my car.... And money is not good atm so no idea how long it will be out (I cant drive a car with no stereo!).

I'll most likely be there and try and get Brad to head up also. Maybe I'll bring up a few friends.

I seen something interesting on the road today. A 1st Gen had a 2nd Gen front end on it primered' up. I thought it looked pimp. Neat lil' project that had to be. So he got the best of both worlds, a fast Gen 1 and HID's from the 2nd Gen. LOL :ban:

Man, I wish I could, Sorry this is the first meet I cant make. I dont have the money to drive all the way out there. Car insurance payments came, have like 35 bucks for the next 2 weeks.

There is a diner there too, and a bar --- and they have food vendors on the street too.
