mespock December 29th, 2005, 05:35 PM Hey LS guys. I have a friend with a 2002 LS and he is on his 2nd CD changer. Both read CD ERROR..
He wants to put in an after market CD player but is afraid that it won't look right.
Do any of you have a pic of your aftermarket units so I could show him what it will look like.
Also I will have the two OEM changers if anyone would like to remedy the problems... which means I'll have them to unload.

beaups December 29th, 2005, 09:32 PM I never thought I'd say this being a tech-freak and all but you've got WAY too much crap installed in your car. looks like an endcap at radio shack. why a pocket pc and a phone? maybe just get an integrated device...and maybe get an integrated sat tuner for your radio (your radio is nice BTW). actually who uses PPC anymore anyhow???
SoonerLS December 29th, 2005, 10:11 PM actually who uses PPC anymore anyhow???
Lots of people do, including anyone who buys the next generation Treo. It was on Microsoft's main Web page a couple of months ago.
beaups December 29th, 2005, 10:14 PM treo would be an integrated device as I mentioned. as far as stand alone PPC's go, sales are in the tank.

I agree.. Too much stuff man.. At least thanks that you didn't add wood trim, or it would be busybusybusybusybusy..
OLLY00 December 30th, 2005, 02:57 AM This is a double DIN size. The installation is much more difficult but it is another option.
SilverLS December 30th, 2005, 05:16 AM I use a PPC for navigation and getting email on the road.....The sat radio Is so I can take it in and out of the car I have nextel And I dont like the blackberrys......I think that answers all the questions...... LOL I like it so ....
mespock December 30th, 2005, 08:40 AM Thanks

I currently have a PocketPC and a separate cell phone. I am expecting to upgrade the PocketPC to a unit with an integrated phone so I don't have to carry two devices.
Anyhoo, nice pix of the aftermarket radio installs! Great work, guys!
beaups December 30th, 2005, 03:52 PM ToddG...I have an HP 6315 (GSM) if you're interested.
mike690003 December 31st, 2005, 07:39 PM Way too much gizmo's on your dash, it looks like an FHP cruiser. I really don't know why you have all that money invested in gadgets, and you instrument cluster looks like a christmas tree. Get the airbag light, and the others off, those should be the priority.

I just ran out of washer fluid.....And I ordered my clock spring last week so when I get it I will do it....Trust me I dont like seeing the airbag light on knowing I dont have an aribag now with all these crazy people driving here in FL.....
As for all the gadgets I use the PPC to get emails and updates on cases when Im working (very helpful) and The sat. radio is the new thing everyone has them now in there LS.... So because I have a few extra things on my dash I now have to much crap?? I like it and everyone That see's the car (in person) seems to like it....Its not like I just put it there to take up space They are very useful....
I did clean my car too! spent 2 or so hours cleaning it
Just look at the rearview mirror (ITS CLEAN THIS TIME GUYS LOL)
