Tonight when i was coming home from about an hour's worth of driving for Holiday Stuff, i happened to look down at the gauges as i was coming into my driveway only to see my RPM's go straight to 0, knowing this could only mean the car had died, i put the car in Neutral and it started right up just fine, so when i got to my house i popped the hood and seen that the KKM Filter wasn't even on, it was laying below the Induction tube, i'm guessing when i took it off a few week's ago to clean it i just must not of fastened it tight enough, but what i was wondering is if this was the reason the car might of suddenly died, thx.

Yea, that's what happened to me too couple of times with the CAI, and then I got sick of the cound and took it off. Now it's hanging at home and the car rides smooth and quiet.

If the KKM gets off of its place the engine goes off.
