my passenger side rear lugs broke off, 2 of them actually... where can I order the lugs and the lug nuts (seems like all the aftermarket ones dont fit properly) and how hard is it to change the lugs out myself?

any tech documents on this?

thanks
-matt

EDIT: the lug studs are what is broke.. any ideas on a tech document to replace these and where I can get them. I called advanced auto and they said they could not get them. Apparently the lug nuts advanced auto do not fit correctly as well. I got exactly what they told me to buy and they ruined one of my rims and broke the 2 lug studs off leaving my rim wobling... on another note they told me to buy the sinlge platinum spark plugs which you guys know how long it takes to switch those out.. AND i guess i NEED the double platinum, so make sure you guys check advanced auto..lol

post any replies,

thanks,
matt

I think LS calls for single platinum, not those split tip plugs or whatever. anyhow I did mine tonight (V8). It's not difficult, just time consuming. Just make sure you have a 7mm open ended wrench (or box wrench) and a 7mm socket with all sorts of different lengths of extensions. a universal wouldn't hurt either. and drink a couple beers first.

thanks for the post. ya i actually paid a guy $100 to change them for me and it took him about 5 hours to do although thats with going to the store and getting the plugs and waiting on someone to bring a 7mm universal socket.. I saw exactly what he did and I could probably do it except i dont have a garage or access to one, and i dont have many tools..lol i should have asked santa for those things..lol

on a different topic - does anyone know of a PDF version of the repair manual?

thanks, -matt
