Only 93-94's did not get bumper cutouts. Anything newer, including LSC's got the cutouts. What year is your car? Mine does not have them because I have a 94, it sucks.

on my 94 I just said F it and went without mufflers. I have high flow cats that quiets it down a little. I've got straight pipes where the mufflers go with turn downs.

eh, Maybe your car was in an accident and they replaced the rear bumper with a 93 or 94.......... Or maybe it was a late 94 model.........

Yea, its true 93-94 didn't have them 95 up did. Does your Mark VIII badge on the back of your car say Intech32v? this also started in 95.

Or been fixed in back at one time. Body shops don't get into details like that alot. Is your radio a din or din 1/2.

I suppose its possible there was a point on the line where the interiors changed to the new style, but the bumpers and emblems didn't yet?

and isn't there a radiator hose cover that says intech on the 95's up? cause i didnt have that i just had the 2 piece one over the engine that said "Mark VIII 4.6L Four Cam" and a lincoln symbol

The cover your thinking of is on 97, 98s had no cover. Your 2 piece cover is correct. I do think what they say changed from 93-96. one says 4.6 four cam and the other says Mark VIII 4.6L four cam. don't know specs on that though. Mines a 96 and says same as yours.

Im a big fan of turndowns, I almost wish my 97 didnt have cutouts. But then again lincoln did a great job of making the exhaust look really good on the 2nd gens.

Can a 95-96 bumper with cut-outs be directly bolted on to a 93-94 car? Paint of course is a different issue.

Yep, You would obviously have to get the tips done differently. Im thinking about doing it and putting some nice 3 1/2" tips on.

what did you use? just a jigsaw? and did you put any fiberglass up under it to or did u just use the exhaust to hide it?

Check out the ovals from Geno. I really like the ones I got from him.

93-96 bumper covers are interchangeable. So, you can put a 95-96 bumper cover on a 93-94 with no problems....they bolt right up.:D

It was some type of heavy duty jig saw. I plugged into the air at my shop. I trace the oval shape as best I coud with a sharpie and then went to cutting. I didn't use any fiberglase. I like the way they came out.
