I recently acquired a 2006 calender of GM concept cars, and saw a concept cadillac that was new to me, called the Cadillac Sixteen. Which sort of looked like a cross between a lincoln and a cadillac. Anyway, it's a V-16, (reminds me of the old Duesenberg days), which I found very interesting. Although after V-10 it's just sort of riddiculous. Infact I'd prefer if it was V-8, but then the name would be sort of pointless. Anyway, I was wondering if cadillac had announced plans to release the Cadillac Sixteen? I think it looks beautiful. That's the main reason I've always prefered lincoln, I always though Lincolns looked classier, but now this car just looks wonderful.

I don't see any Lincoln in this ride.It was a 2003 concept. There was never any intentions of building it.It was meant to show of what Cadillac is capable of doing. And the V16 under the hood puts out 1000HP and a 1000lbs of torque.Cadillac had the first V16 beginning in 1929 and went until 1933 I believe. It cranked out HP in the 350 range, pretty kick ass for 1929.And was the ultimate in luxury.Rolls Royce couldn't even touch Cadillac's Sixteen of the early 20th century.Though I haven't heard anything of Cadillac selling the engine, infact I know they don't,they have announced that we will see the engine in production under the hood of super luxury Caddy. They have also tested the V16 and XV-12(750HP) in the new Escalades for a V model. We will most likely see the XV-12 in the Escalade-V.
