He has a 96, not the same thing. Even though he changed the stat, sounds like a stuck open stat. I have had these symptoms before on a few cars.

I sometimes wonder about that. I changed out the EATC to the big buttons. My original had broken buttons. As long as I can remember, I never had heat. Some say the EATC units from other Fords will work. My unit came from a Taurus SHO. All of the buttons are labeled the same as the original. Can anyone elaborate on this?

i remember hearing that certian year grand marquis and conti's are interchangeable with our cars? but i never hear about the taurus sho working with our cars before, but since it works on your car that answers it!

Dominus and JrMark8, thank you for posting those links. They were extremely helpful in troubleshooting my no heat condition. Made it alot easier considering my car had no heat when it came off the truck from FL to RI and I'm new to these cars. (I've always been more of a Panther Platform guy myself.) But damn am I ever diggin this car. :D

I'm going to look for another EATC from a 97 Mark. This should work.
