Well tonight, I hopped in the car, started it, put it in Drive, and took off. Funny thing was, it wouldn't shift into second gear. It acted like I had it down in "1". So I just put it into neutral and back into drive and it didn't do that at all the rest of the night. This also WAS NOT a cold start. The car sat there for about 15 minutes before I described what happened above. Anyone think this is something I should worry about? or just a silly little glitch?

Sounds like a shift solenoid or valve problem but it could just be low on fluid. Check it in park while its idling, after a short drive to heat 'er up. It is very hard to read the level on the dipstick, so check it several times. Too full is bad also.
When's the last fluid service? Do you have a tranny cooler? Do you have Mercon V?

yep, just had a trans flush about a month ago..... had Mercon V fluid put in. Checked the level about a million times since then, has been good just about every time I've checked it. And unfortunatley, NO tranny cooler. On my list for "down the road" mods though.

The cooler won't fix nothing, just make the fluid and tranny last a lot longer. If it happens again, you may want to retorque the valve body bolts if you're confident of the fluid. Worst case, I would try another flush before it got chronic.

Try adding lucas tranny additive. Its helped alot of trannys (including mine).
When you flushed, you might have loosened something that clogged a valve for a minute. Just a shot in the dark.
