I think it would be cool to have a meet here in michigan in the spring time. Possibly a track meet or even just a parking lot hang out. I would like for a few other members to help organize and plan a date for the meet. Im posting early to make sure we have enough time to organize and plan. So just post up if you think its a good idea and want to help. Thanks

I agree.. Michigan would be a great place for a meet.

You should get together with Serg and see what you can put together.

I would be interested in attending...

I have a small preference to location... (not that I have a problem with Metro Detroit, but I live 4 1/2 hrs away!).. maybe more towards central Mi??? but detroit area is still do-able for me.

Hope to get my conti going soon....

and yes, Mesick is in MI... LOL look halfway between Cattletracks (Cadillac) and Traverse City....

We could have a track meet at Lapeer International Dragway. It's kind of a dump, but it's cheap and you can usually get quite a few runs in there. They have a test 'n tune every Saturday noon to five, it costs $25 to run, and $5for helmet rental if you don't have one of your own. I used to go there all the time with the taurus car club.

A Michigan meet is a great idea.

We have a few meets already planned. First there is the All LvC meet at Carlisle, PA for the Ford Nationals. First Weekend in June. There are a lot of LvC members attending this meet, Go join the fun.

Next we have the Boscobel Beach Party July 14-16 in Boscobel, WI. (There are a few Detroit area members coming to this meet already contact Sergmark and Redwingvksm to make arrangements to travel along with them.)

There will be a LvC Cruise Night and BBQ in Lombard, IL in late August. (this is not yet scheduled).

There has been some talk about a St. Louis Meet in September.

If you want a meet post it and start planning what you want to do. Most meets start out small with only a few members attending.

Take pics and post the fun you have. This will draw attention to your meet and your next meet will have more members.

Try to attend other planned meets. You will meet more members and many more members will attend your meet.

Just a few weeks ago a group from Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern IL met at Great Lakes Dragway. Two or Three members showed but they had fun and drew attention to having another meet.

I would definitely be up for meeting some members.

Could definitely use the advice on fixing some issues and trading ideas.

Well there are a lot of members going to Carlisle in June and many coming to Boscobel in July. You are more than welcome to come.

You are welcome to join those who are camping in my back yard in July.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but who's going to Carlisle?

Why not Windsor Canada? Gambling, Nightlife, Waterfront, Lots to do. I've been there twice and had a blast both times. Imagine the look on the border guards face seeing 30-50 Lincolns rollin' through at once that are not on car haulers. LOL

Another Suggestion that I would like to throw out there is Put In Bay, OH on South Bass Island in Lake Erie. Once again, great night life, cool stuff to check out during the day, Norwalk Raceway park about 35 miles inland. Imagine the ferryboat full of Sparkly Lincolns headed to the Island? Also Cedar Point Amusment Park (best in the world, IMO)is about 15 minutes away from there too.
