got the new longer sepentine belt yesterday (it may be too long 132.44" - but gonna try it). I have to split it first since it is 8ribs and I need 6....

Have you checked to see if there are more options out there for 8 rib instead of 6? Our Cobras are 8...but much much shorter. If there are 8 rib belts out there the right length, maybe you can convert your pulleys to 8 rib. The supercharger pulley is a piece of cake...I have no idea about the others.

Quick LS, have you, or anyone else here, purchased this service DVD? I've gotta be honest, I'm wondering if it's the real deal for only $23, and is it legit?

Well - I have the dvd - not from this person. I also have the actual Ford printed manuals - the DVD is exactly the same - only has many more cars (then manuals are for only the LS).

Well, the DVD does sound worth having. If you don't mind, how much did you pay for yours and where did you get it? I'm not in favor of getting "taken" on eBay, if you know what I mean. Even if it's only $23, it's the principle. No offense intended if the seller is legit.

I only paid $9.99 - but there were alot on e-bay at the time.
