Since everyone hates those side markers, how about cutting them out and replacing them with an air inlet for the CAI, and cover the hole with some mesh wire? I know it wouldn't grab too much air but I think it would be a fun little project.

KD, that sounds like a good idea. Probably better than some, but w/ those side markers, some states require that they be there and they be that reflective orange color. Even though we have the turn signal in the head lights, Texas (where I'm in) requires that those side markers be there. Or you get a ticket.

yep - I'd leave the markers in.

These are a DOT requirement - meaning they are required everywhere - but unless your state has inspections you are not likely to get caught.....

yeah but most states jsut require one form of yellow so the side markers would be good and you could use screw reflectors on your front tag...
