We have a limited run of the polished aluminum cold air intake tube for the 2000-2002 Lincoln LS V8 only. This is a one time buy for now to see how well they sell. This is a one-piece replacement for the stock plastic air snorkel on the 2000-2002 Lincoln LS 3.9L V-8. It's a light weight unit and it is gorgeous!

This air intake tube allows the air to pass smoothly and without disturbance to the throttle body, resulting in increased power. Combine this with the KKM filter kit and you can expect about a 10-15 hp increase. This is a lower cost unit to the stainless steel version we offer and is $250 plus shipping. You can add the KKM True-Rev Sport Induction filter kit for only $49.99 for even a greater savings. So, $299 for a complete intake system for your 00-02 LS V8!

This is a limited run of these so PRE-ORDER yours NOW! The tubes are expected the week after Thanksgiving!

There is a $9 flat rate shipping cost for this item.

You can order here: Lincoln LS CAI Tube System (http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/v8-polished-aluminum-cold-air-intake-tube-p-84.php)

I was just wondering what differences there were between the two intakes. Are you losing anything by buying this tube over the stainless steel?

You won't lose any performance with this tube. The only difference is the price of aluminum over stainless steel. Steel is outrageous now especially stainless steel. We wanted to offer a lower cost version.

i live VERY close...just bad I cant get it hooked up though. Seems as though the inner diameter of the outlet is too small just by a hair.

Ben,

Sorry I haven't responded. We have been gone all weekend. However, it all fits. Which one are you having a problem with? The one closest to throttle body will be tight by design. You wil have to work with it and put a little lubricant on there to get it to slide on.

The one I am having trouble with is the hose that connects to the idle air control valve. I have done all I can and it will not fit in there. I am going to grab another hose so that I can dremel it down and see if I can get it to fit in there...I dont know what else to do other than that.

Its all good about not getting back to me asap....since it was your bday and all!!!!

happy bday by the way only a little late.

Mine was the same way, went a different route on that hose. Also the bracket to hold the filter is way to long. I rebent it to eliminate the factory bracket. Looks better anyway.

if you attach the braket to the mounting point on the car first it works like a champ....

I swear mine was at least 1 1/2" to long. Besides I eliminated the little flimcy factory bracket, it has to be a firmer mount.
