I was told that once the kickpanel is off I would see two bundles of wires. The smaller bundle of wires is where the orange wire is, but I see two orange wires in the small bundle. Now according to this tech article at(http://www.lincolnsonline.com/article109.html) it's the #15 wire. The picture in the article shows two orange wires one with a silverish white stripe on it. Since I can't see the color of the stripe on the other orange wire #15 should I assume it is a greenish gold color thats on the other orange wire in the small bundle of wires. And thats the wire that should be grounded?

I working on this right now, so I need some answers ASAP Please. Thanks alot.

The only grounds I know of in that area are near the steering column and underneath the carpet near the edge

Well I just put it all back together because there were two orange wires in the small bundle and they both had a chaser color. I never did have a problem with the headlights, the tach or the gas guage. I just get fed up with the DTE beeping when evr I fart. I'll just live with it until I feel energetic again.
