My 02 has blown both rear bulbs even though they are supposed to be the long life bulbs.

I think I found it for $104.

Dealer? Hah. They said it was the trunk weatherstripping (which, did need replacing, but wasn't the cause of this)...I had 3" of water in the trunk when it rained for like a week straight. That is fixed thankfully. I should have my new coils / boots, and taillight on Monday. :-)

Look at the black bezel that the bulb locks into and see if its warped at all. If it is warped then the 3 little light bezels will start to separated. Look very closely at the cluster (the 3 bezels) and look for a hair line seperation (crack) in the plastic. There will be one somewhere in that cluster. If you can't find it just silicone all the point that the 3 bezel connect to the rest of the black plastic (they should all be 90 degree angles).
