I just got my R1 drilled & slotted brake rotors.my question is do the drill holes & slots curve towards the front of the car or do they curve towards the back
of the car? also where can you get the paint for the calipers? Thanks JC...

They curve towards the back of the car just like the directional wheels. You can find caliper paint at most automotive stores. It comes in a kit to clean and prep it before you paint it.

Just got back from getting brake pads, went with Performance Friction Carbon Metallic brand {the same brand as Nascar uses on short track and road courses} I have the same pads on my 4 wheel disc brake Mustang. they have incredible stopping power and almost no fade! $60.00 for the front and $40.00 for the back. do not use these if you have chinese made rotors!! they are hard compound and wreak havoc on cheap rotors. also got some red epoxy paint for my calipers. I think I'll wait to start on it until tomorrow. I can't wait to get it done! I'll post pics when done. :Beer

I just hope it wont look to rice with bright red calipers. I thought about black,
but the red looked best. I didn't care for the blue.

Yea, blue would'nt do the silver justice.
I've got KVR crossdrills on the front of the 98. Now I just have to do something with the calipers. I'm thinking some powdercoating is in order. :)
Can't wait to see the pics man.

yea, i'm on a tight budget right now, unemployment sucks!! so I'll have stay stock on the calipers for now. but I would love some dual piston aluminum
one's on there. powder coating rules!
