not worth it, just buy an adapter for 40$ and a cone filter and be done with it

thanks. I just wanted some opinions. I didn't think it would be worth it.

This mod is never done on 4.6 DOHC's because you don't gain anything... some LS1 guys have done it with minimal success. Keep it stock...

Just call me for a real mass air kit. Guaranteed performance. If you modify the stock unit you will only get ONE try at getting it right, not worth it.

the stock meter is 80mm right? I want to upgrade it and the air box and go with a conical K&N. Geno, how much for all of this? THANKS, JC...

BOUT 300 for it all.. the maf's cost in the $200 range and the filter bout 40 bucks. you could go over to http://www.nloc.net/forum/ for a lightin 80 or 90mm maf for bout 100 bucks...some are using the new (not the 05) gt 80mm mafs. but you will have to use a chip..
